Obi-wan more time for Ewan McGregor
EWAN McGREGOR is now the third star in the George Lucas galaxy to show interest in appearing in the next Star Wars film, recently admitting he would be happy to make a return to playing Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Both Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) have also thrown their lightsabers into the
ring for another chance to take on the Empire.
Disney, which bought Lucasfilm for £2.5billion in October, is already planning a number of new Star Wars films, with Episode VII in development.
Storywise it will follow on from the 1983 film Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi. Wait for the new film we can’t, no.
