Tim wants to Potter
TIM Roth has sent a “come and get me” message to the producers of the Harry Potter films, despite having earlier turned down a major role in the hit movie series.
Six years ago he passed on the part of Severus Snape – which ultimately went to Alan Rickman – to take a role in Tim Burton’s poorly received Planet Of The Apes remake.
But he hopes the movies’ makers will not hold that against him as he has three good reasons for wanting to be in either
of the remaining Potter pictures.
The actor’s three sons – Jack, Timothy and Cormac – are Harry fans and would be thrilled for their dad to be in The
Half-Blood Prince or The Deathly Hallows.
“I had various reasons for not doing it before but I’d probably do something like that if it were offered to me now. I’ve got three kids,” says the 46-year-old Reservoir Dogs star.
