Sharon Shoesmith has an attitude problem
SHARON SHOESMITH, the social services chief who lost her job over the death of Baby P, claims she is on the dole and unemployable.
She may well be on the dole but I doubt very much if she is unemployable.
After all, even those leaving Her Majesty's prisons are employable as many have found out.
Ms Shoesmith may well be unemployable in her chosen field but somebody with her education and experience will not be unemployable in every walk of life.
She could have set up a business or worked for a charity or written sociology text books under a nom de plume. Many with fewer advantages have succeeded.
The problem seems to be that Sharon Shoesmith feels sorry for herself and that is never the best basis on which to build a future.
