Youthful Ringo Starr, 75, looks younger than his SON, 48, on London shopping trip
STEPPING out in Chelsea at the weekend, Beatles icon Ringo Starr looked young and healthy, defying his 75 years.
Ringo Starr hit the shops with son Jason Starkey at the weekend
The singer/songwriter was enjoying a day out with his son, Jason Starkey, 48, when they could have easily been mistaken for brothers.
Strolling alongside his child, the musician wore an outfit of black skinny jeans, a slim-cut black blazer, tinted glasses and a peace sign pendant.
Starkey had opted for a more bohemian style, in chequered shoes, a flannel plaid shirt, open waistcoat and metallic chains hanging from his belt.
Both men carried shopping bags, having clearly enjoyed an afternoon of retail therapy.
Jason, now 48, has come out the other end of his rebellious youth, and is now a father of three

Starkey is one of three children from Starr's first marriage to Maureen Starkey Tigrett, and was known as somewhat of a rebel growing up.
At 20, he was reportedly caught trying to steal a car stereo, followed two years later by an appearance in court for drug charges.
This behaviour was short-lived, however. He soon turned to music and played the drums in indie bands, before settling down with long-term partner Flora Evans and having three sons of his own.
Starkey was famously quoted as once saying "Being Ringo Starr's son is the biggest drag of my life."
Starr has hit the headlines this month with the cancellation of an upcoming concert
All you need is love: Starr's motto is quite befitting his recent political protests
We need to take a stand against this hatred. All you need is love
His father Starr hit the headlines earlier this month when he cancelled an upcoming concert abruptly, out of legal protest.
Due to perform in North Carolina on June 18, he joined other musicians - such as Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams - to contest the law that limits bathroom access for transgender people in the US south.
“I’m sorry to disappoint my fans in the area, but we need to take a stand against this hatred,” Starr said in a statement on the matter. “All you need is love."
