The couple, who have been dogged by split rumours, have blamed their lack of organisation for the setback to their big day.
Speaking in this week's OK! Magazine, the actress admitted: "We just ran out of time to plan everything. I thought we had ages and then all of a sudden it was March and we didn’t have anything booked."
The 23-year-old continued: "We’ve not found a venue that’s perfect for us yet. We want to wait and find somewhere that we love.
"It was a bit of a shame as we were looking forward to it. [But] just because we’ve postponed the wedding, it doesn’t mean our relationship is falling apart!"
The actress said she wanted to tell fans they were still getting married
Jacqueline also used the opportunity to stand up for herself, after she came under fire following her interview on the ITV chat show.
"I hate that people view me as some poor, vulnerable girl who is so put upon by Daniel. I don’t need a man to make me happy," she insisted.
"I’m with Dan because I love him, not because I feel trapped with him or need someone! I would be absolutely fine on my own," Jacqueline added.

The actress, who is preparing to return to her role in EastEnders after a year’s maternity leave, said of 13-month-old daughter, Ella: "I’ll miss her when I’m at work, but she’s much more independent.
"To be honest, Ella can be a bit clingy with me so it might do her some good to have a bit of space."
