The video sees the soap star like you've never seen him before as he appears in drag for the singer-songwriter's new single Nebraska.
Danny can be seen wearing a sparkly red dress and heels as he applies make-up and a wig, taking on a new persona.
He then takes to the stage to perform in a small club and can later be seen smiling as he walks through London.
Following the release of the video, Danny took to Twitter to share a still from the moving piece and captioned it: "#FreedomOfExpression."

Freedom of expression is so important
The video reflects the lyrical themes of the track - not needing to justify yourself, stepping out and doing what makes you happy even if it's not what everyone else is expecting of you.
The collaboration between Danny and Lucy comes as a result of a Twitter conversation, after the actor – who is a huge fan of her music – reached out.
Speaking about his involvement, the 38-year-old told The Independent: "I was honoured to be asked by the maestro that is Lucy Rose to be part of her video.

"I think it's such a moving piece of work. I'm beyond proud to be a part of it, I've always believed that people should be who they wanna be, regardless of race or gender.
"Freedom of expression is so important - I really hope that this video gets the recognition it deserves."
Lucy added: "I'm hoping it'll make someone feel something when they watch it, I hope it comforts someone and shows that no-one is who you expect them to be.
"Danny has taken a huge risk making this video and I'm eternally grateful to him for believing in me and this song.”
