The excitable snap's caption read: "Sorry boys. I'm off the market," and has already accrued over 4,000 comments, with many equally as gob-smacked.

The event has been applauded for its diversity amid the recent Oscars race row, which has seen several celebrities opt out of the ceremony.

Other winners on the night included Leonardo DiCaprio for The Revenant, Brie Larson for Room, and Kevin Spacey for House of Cards, to name a few.
