EastEnders actress GillianTaylforth has second drink-driving charge
FORMER EastEnders actress Gillian Taylforth has been charged with drink driving for a second time.
The actress was arrested early on Saturday after she was stopped near her home
Taylforth, 59, was arrested early on Saturday after she was stopped near her home in Hertfordshire.
Her fiance, Dave Fairbairn, was arrested for allegedly shouting at police as she was breathalysed.
The pair were stopped by officers at 1.25am just a few miles from Taylforth’s £900,000 Broxbourne home.
She was subsequently charged and will appear at North and East Hertfordshire magistrates court on February 23.
Taylforth, a mother of two, is best known for playing Kathy Beale in EastEnders. She was previously arrested for being over the limit in 1995.
Her daughter Jessica, who was aged three, was in the car. Taylforth has recently appeared in the Channel Four soap Hollyoaks after leaving EastEnders in 2000.
