Jessica Alba looks red hot as she continues her campaign of positivity
JESSICA ALBA has thrown her support behind a campaign for female empowerment after confessing she can relate to feelings of self-doubt and outside judgement.
Braun's #BreakFree initiative aims to help females break free from what holds them back by promoting positivity amongst their fellow women.
Speaking about her involvement in the campaign, the Sin City actress said: “I completely relate to feelings of self-doubt and feeling judged but, happily, I also know personally how wonderfully empowering female positive reinforcement is.
"I’m encouraging women to say, share and show their support to female friends, family, colleagues – sisters everywhere. Let’s give each other the confidence to break free from self-doubt and all walk that little bit taller."
The mother-of-two added: "Think of a woman you admire today and tell her!”
Alba's stunning campaign shoot sees the 33-year-old pictured in a bold red dress and breaking through a wave of white drapes with a warming smile.
With her luscious ombre locks flowing and her womanly curves on display, the star is a vision of strength, confidence and ambition.
The campaign images are part of Alba's work as a Braun ambassador.
She also opened up about her insecurities on the Meredith Vieira show.
“In my teens and my 20s I just wasn’t sure of myself and I was always kind of insecure and felt I needed to apologise for myself,” she said.
Braun's research has revealed that 91 per cent of women feel judged in everyday scenarios and 85 per cent lacking the faith that other women admire them.
Furthermore, 62 per cent said they most valued endorsement from their female counterparts with a fifth saying a positive compliment could stay with them for life.
To be part of the chain, women simply have to write an online #BreakFree message of support to a fellow female.
