'I'm engaged to him!' Courteney Cox reveals plans to marry toyboy beau Johnny McDaid
COURTENEY Cox has revealed that she is engaged to her toyboy lover Johnny McDaid.
The former Friends star, 50, took to her Twitter account to announce the happy news on Wednesday afternoon, uploading an adorable selfie of the pair with the caption: "I'm engaged to him!"
Snow Patrol rocker Johnny, 37, tweeted a similar message at the same time, which read: "I'm engaged to her!"
In the snap, the happy couple - who have been dating for around eight months - can be seen posing close together, both adopting a happy grin while enjoying what seems to be a relaxing day on the beach.
The pair flew from Miami to Amanyara in Turks tand caicos to celebrate the actress' 50th birthday and spent the day on a secluded part of the beach.
A source previously told E!: "Courteney's birthday was Sunday and they spent all afternoon on the beach. It was just the two of them and they found a secluded spot in a cove.
"It was very romantic and a beautiful setting for the afternoon. They shared a green cocktail and took a nap side by side. Courteney looked like there was nowhere else in the world she would rather be and just so happy to be doing what she was doing."
