Never seen her like this before! Katherine Jenkins dresses up as LARA CROFT at hen do
KATHERINE Jenkins channelled her inner action woman recently when she dressed up as Lara Croft for a friend's hen do.
The singer followed in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie and showed off her enviable figure as she squeezed into a pair of tiny hot pants and an eye-wateringly tight vest top at the fancy dress-themed party.
Teaming her revealing ensemble with a pair of holsters wrapped around her thighs and a waist belt, the mezzo soprano looked every inch the stunning action woman as she joined nine of her close friends at the Las Vegas celebrations.
The group looked like they were having a whale of a time as they partied the night away, uploading a number of snaps to their social networking accounts to keep their friends and family updated.
Speaking about their weekend, which was no doubt filled with fun and debauchery, one friend said: "Katherine has been saying for a while that she needed to let her hair down with her girlfriends.
"But she surprised us all by putting her hair up, colouring it black and dressing up as Lara croft.
"I think she's a bit of a Tomb Raider fan. It was brilliant because people didn't recognise her - she had to tell them who she was.
She added: "She was great fun - the life and should of a party that went on for three days."
Bride-to-be Angela Jay, who works for media giant Global Radio, invited a dozen friends for the special trip and the party stayed at the iconic Bellagio hotel in the middle of Vegas' notorious strip.
The trip included activities such as heading to a shooting range in Nevada, a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, and a shopping spree at the Encore Resort.
Katherine is said to have helped her pals skip queues at trendy places such as Hakkasan nightclub, where she posed for photographs with fellow clubbers, who queued to get their snaps taken with her.
Her friend added: "We had a great time - Katherine is tremendous fun and although she's a worldwide star she is still one of the girls.
"Some of us hadn't seen her for a few years because she is so busy but we all clicked again straight away."
