'With my Bezza' Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry reunite at BBC Good Food Show
IT MAY have been a few weeks since the latest series of 'The Great British Bake Off' finished, but it didn't take long for Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry to be back in each other's company again.
The baking pair found themselves reunited today as they gave a baking class in the Chef's Supertheatre at the BBC Good Food Show Winter held at the NEC Birmingham this afternoon.
And it seems that father-of-one couldn't have been happier about being with his sidekick again, and posted a photo of the two of them on his instagram page with the caption: "Rehearsals !!! With Bezza x"
It seems the pair were actually a bit worried that no-one would turn up to listen to their baking tips as Paul also tweeted a photo of the empty arena, and confessed: "Gulp... I'm sure it'll fill up later, at NEC BBC Good Food Show."
However, it seems that Paul actually has bigger problems to worry about - in particular his hands.
Earlier this month, the 47-year-old star revealed that his lengthy career as a baker has ruined his hands and that he'll be having career-saving surgery in the new year.
Speaking at the Good Food Show in London, Paul admitted that that he is losing the feeling in his hands after decades spent kneading dough has left him with severe nerve damage in his wrists.
An advocate of mixing and kneading by hand, Paul was forced to apologise to fans for not practising what he preaches.
"This is a dough which has been made earlier, I would normally manipulate it and knead it myself but I’ve had a few problems," he said. "I actually have carpal tunnel syndrome in both my wrists.
"I went to get it tested about two years ago and they gave me electric shock treatment from your finger down to your elbow to see how severe it is.
"The doctor said 'If you don’t have an operation you will no longer have feeling in your hands for the rest of your life'.
He continued: "I have been wearing wrist strengtheners on both my wrists. Thirty years of baking has now knackered me, and I have to go for an operation to have them sorted."
