Peter Crouch cheers up his wife Abbey Clancy after she survives Strictly dance off
SHE MIGHT have been a little down in the dumps after narrowly surviving her Strictly dance off, but the smile was soon back on Abbey Clancy's face after a lunch date with husband Peter Crouch today.
The pretty blonde turned her frown upside down as she headed out for a spot to eat with her footballer husband, just hours after winning the dance-off against her pal Rachel Riley.
Keeping things casual, she wore a pair of black skinny jean and a black, wooly jumper.
She teamed her all-black outfit with a pair of large sunnies and toted a large, grey bag - but her most noticeable accessory was the huge grin across her face.
Peter echoed his wife's casual look and opted for a pair of denim jeans and a plain white T-shirt, accessorising with a pair of dark sunnies.
The pair looked happy to be back together following the weekend's tense events.
Abbey found herself in the bottom two alongside Countdown star Rachel Riley, much to the shock of the show's judging panel.
"I can't quite believe that the audience at home have put you in this position," said Len when the results were announced.
Ahead of the dance off Abbey struggled to hold back the tears, as she said: "It’s just made me realise how much I don’t want to leave."
Rachel, 27, was the fifth star to leave the show after the judges chose to save Abbey, but it looks as though there are no hard feelings between the two pals.
After she heard the result, Rachel said: "Abbey is just gorgeous, a gorgeous dancer, a gorgeous girl and I have no shame in getting knocked out to her."
She added: "Abbey especially was really upset because we get on really, really well."
The maths whizz said she has made some friends for life, describing everyone as "lovely."
"I swapped numbers with lots of contestants and a lot of the dancers. Everyone was so nice," she said.
