The Lady goes Gaga for British fish 'n' chips
YESTERDAY we revealed that Lady Gaga had pledged to head out for “fish ’n’ chips with malt vinegar” as soon as she arrived in the UK.
And the singer proved true to her word. After changing out of the skimpy lace catsuit she wore to fly from New York the 27-year-old slipped into something more comfortable – a bra, latex harem pants and skyscraper heels – and tottered out to the Sea Shell of Lisson Grove chippie in London’s Marylebone.
Never knowingly underdressed, Gaga doffed her cap to the restaurant’s name by wearing a seashell in her giant wig, having just performed at MTV’s VMA Awards in little more than a handful of scallop shells and some ribbon.
Gaga is in town to headline the iTunes Festival at the Roundhouse in Camden, her first performance on these shores since she took time out for hip surgery, and said she was enjoying a few naughty treats after her pre-VMAs diet regime.
We wonder if she asked for salt ’n’ vinegaga with her chips?
