Feel the burn! Gordon Ramsay puts in the work as he trains for Iron Man competition
HE MIGHT create mouth watering, fattening foods on a daily basis, but Gordon Ramsay is a fitness freak at heart.
The celebrate chef was spotted training for his most recent escapade earlier today - the Iron Man - with a four and half hour bike ride in Los Angeles.
The star - who had to pull out of the competition in March due to an injury - was pictured preparing for the slog with a quick change in clothing by the side of his car.
The 47-year-old looked every inch the professional as he whipped off his formal attire, showing off his impressive physique, and got into a lycra all in one.
He added a pair of knee length socks and a helmet before climbing on to his bike and embarking on the trip.
The father-of-two recently revealed that his training regime means that he is working out for over eight hours a day, four days a week.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, he said: "I’m training for Iron Man in Kona and that’s my big focus for the moment.
“I started out with a two-hour swim this morning and then a 100k bike ride and I’m going for a run after this.
“I’m training eight hours, four days a week at the moment because I eat like a horse."
The Iron Man competition includes a 2.4mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride and a marathon 26.2mile run, raced in that order and without a break.
