Mark Wahlberg criticises vain Hollywood action heroes
MARK WAHLBERG has launched a scathing attack on A-list Hollywood action stars, insisting most tough guy actors spend more time in front of the mirror than performing their own stunts.
The Ted star is convinced many big names in the movie industry hide behind a facade and are nothing like the hardman characters they portray on screen.
Wahlberg refuses to name the actors he is referring to, but insists he finds the pretence frustrating.
He tells The Times, "These guys are an hour and a half in the make-up chair and another hour looking at themselves in the mirror. They're not that tough. If you want to see tough, go to prison."
The actor was sentenced to two years in jail as a teenager on an assault conviction, but served just 45 days of his sentence and vowed to turn his life around following his release.
