Ice legends Torvill and Dean 'dabbled' in romance
THE nation wanted them to be an item since they clinched gold with their Bolero 29 years ago today.
And after years of denials it appears that Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have admitted they "dabbled" in romance.
The skating legends are said to have made the revelation in an interview with TV host Piers Morgan for his ITV show Life Stories.

Mr Morgan revealed the admission on social networking site Twitter writing: "@torvillanddean finally admit to a romantic past together, albeit a very short one..."
Torvill and Dean had told Mr Morgan when asked about a romance: "Yes, we dabbled..."
Valentine's Day marks the anniversary of the couple's famous Bolero dance which won Olympic gold in 1984.
Torvill, 55, and Dean, 54, coach celebrity contestants on ITV show Dancing On Ice.
Torvill and Dean's spokesman could not be reached for comment.
The new series of Piers Morgan's Life Stories starts on ITV later this month.
