'Novelty act' Lisa Riley fears dance exit
STRICTLY’S Lisa Riley is said to be worried about going out early from the show this weekend because her partner will struggle to do all the moves to win high points.
This week’s American Smooth routine requires three lifts to please the judges. However, because of Lisa’s size 16-18 frame, the couple have had to rethink their choreography and her overall score could suffer.
She has toned up through sheer hard work and has dropped three dress sizes.
But friends of the ex-Emmerdale star, 36, say BBC chiefs think the pair are “a novelty act’’ – like former contestants Ann Widdecombe and Russell Grant – and should not make the final.
