Kylie Minogue includes cancer battle snap in new style book
Pop star KYLIE MINOGUE has penned a new style book which includes a photograph taken after her gruelling chemotherapy treatment.
The Spinning Around hitmaker took a trip down memory lane as she chose images for Kylie/Fashion, and she decided to feature a shot of her with short hair, which was published in Australia's Vogue magazine in the mid-2000s after she lost her locks during her health battle.
She tells The One Show, "My hair was just growing back after chemotherapy treatment, so I was channelling Joan of Arc, trying to be strong in these photo sessions when I probably wasn't feeling that strong. I think it's beautiful.
"Of all the things I've done this year, that's been the hardest thing making that book. I say it's like if you're moving house and you get to the part where your photo albums are and you get stuck because everything has a memory."
Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and, following surgery and chemotherapy, was given the all-clear in 2006.
