Pete Doherty uses unheard Amy Winehouse lyrics in new song
Rocker PETE DOHERTY is using unpublished lyrics penned by late singer AMY WINEHOUSE in a new song.
The two stars were close pals before Winehouse's death in July last year (11), and often joined each other in painting sessions or impromptu jams.
Earlier this month (May12), Doherty sold one of their joint paintings at auction for £35,000, and now he's revisiting their collaborations again while recording new songs in London.
Producer Adem Hilmi tells NME magazine that Doherty has written a new track containing the line, "We could never be together, I'm too pretty, you're too clever", which was penned by Winehouse.
