Sacha Baron Cohen disturbs red carpet glamour with an attention-grabbing stunt
ACTOR Sacha Baron Cohen disturbed the glamour on the red carpet intermittently last night as he arrived at the annual Academy Awards.
Dressed in a 'dictator' outfit as General Aladeen, the character from his new movie, and joined by three female khaki-clad entourage, the outlandish actor created a furore as he took to the red carpet.
Carrying an urn of ashes said to be those of 'Kim Jong Il' he went on to pour the urn over US presenter Ryan Seacrest.

Thought to be a publicity stunt after the actor was banned from the Oscars ceremony and possibly pre-planned, Baron Cohen was later escorted off the red carpet.

On social networking site twitter, people were quick to react to the action, one post read: "OMG OMG! Sacha Baron Cohen aka The #Dictator just dropped an urn full of ashes on Ryan Seacrest!"
Piers Morgan wrote: "This is just not funny. At all. Really."
