Pacino in talks to play musician in Lennon letter film
AL PACINO is in talks to play a washed-up musician who receives a lost letter from JOHN LENNON in CARS screenwriter DAN FOGELMAN's directorial debut.
In the film, a father decides to reconcile with his estranged son after learning all about a fan letter from Lennon which got lost in the post.
The son was originally billed as Steve Carell, but he had to quit the project due to scheduling conflicts, according to CinemaBlend.com.
Ironically, Carell is the star of Fogelman's latest screenplay, Crazy, Stupid, Love. The funnyman will produce Imagine.
