Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers leaves huge windfall to wife after chef's death

Hairy Bikers star, Dave Myers, has posthumously granted a significant sum to his wife following his battle with cancer. The beloved ITV and BBC chef who succumbed to the disease at the age of 66, left a substantial £1.4million for his spouse.
She has been legally recognised as the sole beneficiary of his assets and now holds complete control over his firm post his demise.
Myers' influence on Sharpletter Limited is no more. His widow, Liliana, 57, has been named the single authority over the business after Dave's tragic passing in February, an event that was followed by a flood of heartfelt memorials.
In earlier times, Dave had expressed his feelings for his wife saying: "It was love or rather lust at first sight. Not on her part probably! She was the manager of our hotel. As Lil showed us our rooms she was very serious, I said, 'Cor! She's gorgeous! ' But Si thought she was scary."
The couple found mutual admiration and after six years of companionship, they exchanged vows in 2011 in Dave's native town, Barrow situated in Cumbria. The occasion was graced by their loved ones, including Si, who held the honour of being his best man, reports Birmingham Live.
Reminiscing about his marriage proposal, Dave humorously told The Mirror, "I didn't propose."
He further added, "She's still waiting! There was all this kerfuffle about papers so we talked about it and decided we should get married to secure the relationship. We were dead sure it was right and her mum and dad were coming over so we did it."
"We did end up having 400 people there. It was an epic. It was off the cuff, it just grew."
Liliana has now assumed control of Dave's shares in the companies he co-owned with his presenting partner Si, aged 57. The couple first crossed paths during the filming of Hairy Bikers in Romania back in 2006, where Liliana was employed at a hotel.
They tied the knot in 2011 and Dave took on the role of stepfather to her two children. After his death, Liliana wrote online: “Rest in peace, my love.
“My wonderful, brave man! Till next time we meet!”
She was made a director of Dave’s production company shortly before he revealed his diagnosis in 2022.
Si broke the news of his co-star's death in a deeply moving statement posted on social media a couple of months ago.
