Former professional boxer has confessed to “not really” getting on with political figure on ’s . The athlete went on to explain that, while he was “nice to everyone”, he had plenty of questions for the former UKIP leader.

Tony, 41, finished up in second place, while Nigel, 59, came third to 2023 series winner , 31, who is best known for appearing in Made In Chelsea. The latest series of I’m A Celeb sparked controversy when Nigel was invited onto the show, with many fans fearing he would try to push a far-right agenda.

In the end, the politician ended up performing equally as well as former Health Secretary Matt Hancock had done the year before. The Tory MP also caused uproar when he appeared on the series, as many viewers blamed him for causing substantial harm during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking to Spinbet, Tony lifted the lid on what he honestly thought of the former Brexit Party leader. He was asked: “Did you get on with Nigel Farage in the Jungle?”

The star replied: “Not really, no but I’m nice to everyone and he treated me okay, so I treated him okay. I didn’t really know him before I went into the Jungle, but I was basically being informed to be careful about how he connects to you.

“But I kept myself to myself and got on well with everyone in the Jungle,” Tony added.

“I know he has a lot of fans out there, but I also know he has a lot of people who hate him out there too.

“I wanted to ask him more about Brexit, why it happened, what he believes, the gap between the north and south divide that this government has formed.

“Those were the type of conversations I had with Nigel Farage,” he continued. “There are a lot of bright people in the north who want to make a difference in this country, but the government don’t want to know.”

Asked about his friendship with Sam since the show, Tony confirmed: “We speak regularly and are trying to sort out a game of golf and see what we can bring up and what we can do.

“Things are in the pipeline for us to do something together whether that’s a show, but things are being talked about in the background and I’m sure we will announce something soon enough.

“Most likely to be TV to see us having a laugh, p****** about and Sam being a prat at usual while I’m being the voice of calm and the sensible one out of the two.

“He’s a lovely boy and I couldn’t have spent time with a better person. I never had a clue who he was before we went in, but I got to know him well when we were in there and he has a friend for life in me.”
