Drake Bell’s wife ‘files for divorce’ days after star reported missing by police
Drake Bell's estranged wife, Janet Von Schemling, has reportedly filed for divorce from the former Nickelodeon actor after four years of marriage.
Drake Bell, 36, and Janet Von Schemling, 28, could soon finalise their divorce after the actor’s estranged wife reportedly filed the documents yesterday.
The former Drake & Josh star had been married to Janet since 2018 after dating for five years and the pair had a son together, Jeremy Drake Bell.
The reports come after Drake was reported missing by the police last week before being found safe by authorities.
According to TMZ, Janet said in court documents that she separated from Drake back in September, when they parted ways due to “irreconcilable differences”.
The documents allegedly state that Janet is seeking “primary legal and physical custody of their kid”.

They are also said to clarify that Janet wants Drake to have visitation rights, and she also seeks spousal support.
Last week, Drake took to Twitter to address the missing person’s report, which had been shared on social media by the Daytona Beach Police Department.
The TV star quipped in view of his 4.3 million followers: "You leave your phone in the car and don’t answer for the night and this?"
Social media users rushed to the comments to share their joy over the actor's safe return.
DBFansMX said: "Now you know how much we care. We were all freaking out. Glad to know you’re ok."
JustineLee1993 added: "I was so worried that I felt physically sick when I read the news this morning. People love and care about you more than you know!"

Drake was reported missing after his communication frightened family members, with the police classing him as "endangered".
The statement, which has already been shared thousands of times, read: “Officers are looking for Jared Bell, DOB 06/27/1986. He should be travelling in a 2022 grey BMW and his last known location is potentially the area of Mainland High School on 4/12/2023 just before 9pm.”
The message continued: “He is considered missing and endangered. If you know where he is or have any information, please contact Detective Jayson Wallace at 386-671-5207 or wallacejayson@dbpd.us”
The Facebook post was updated after Drake was found, stating: "UPDATE: 4/13/2023 1:26p.m. - At this time, we can confirm law enforcement officials are in contact and Mr. Bell is safe."
