DECLAN DONNELLY - one half of Ant and Dec - praised Supervet star Noel Fitzpatrick on Twitter yesterday for looking after his beloved Dachshund Rocky after he had a "run-in" with a fox.
Declan Donnelly, 44, took to social media last night to thank Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick for getting his beloved dog Rocky “back on his feet” following a terrifying incident.
According to the post, Dec’s pet pooch had a “run-in” with a “grumpy fox”, but is now on the mend.
The TV star, one half of presenting duo Ant and Dec, took to the pair’s official Twitter account to publicly praise the veterinary surgeon.
Sharing a picture of the 52-year-old vet, who shot to fame when he appeared on television programme The Supervet, and the Dachshund, Dec gave fans an update on the pet’s wellbeing.
He wrote: “Another thank you to this guy @ProfNoelFitz & his amazing staff for looking after Rocky & getting him back on his feet after a run-in with a grumpy fox in our garden. Cheeky b****r!”
The father-of-one continued: “The care & attention from @fitzpatrickref is so reassuring & comforting. Thanks again everyone.D x.”
Twitter users and fans of the presenting duo took to the comments section to share their thoughts wishing him a speedy recovery.
One user wrote: “Aww glad rocky's better!!! What would we do without amazing people like this!”
A second and third added: “So glad Rocky is recovering, Noel is simply amazing,” and “Get well soon Rocky.”
Another Twitter user remarked: “Rocky always seems to be getting into trouble, glad he’s all okay now.”
This time last year, Rocky was back at the vets after he hurt his back.
At the time Dec thanked the staff at Fitzpatrick Referrals and called them “heroes” for the kindness and care they had shown him and his dog.
