Joe Sugg receives WARNING about Dianne Buswell after Strictly Come Dancing admission
JOE SUGG, who is in a relationship with Dianne Buswell, received a light-hearted warning about his former Strictly Come Dancing partner from Sunday Brunch host Simon Rimmer today.
Sunday Brunch: Simon warns Joe Sugg about Dianne’s brother
Former Strictly Come Dancing duo Joe Sugg, 27, and Dianne Buswell, 30, joined Simon Rimmer, 56, and Tim Lovejoy, 51, on Channel 4 show Sunday Brunch today.
During their appearance, the pair discussed the moment Joe met Dianne’s parents for the first time when they flew in from Australia last month.
Tim said to the couple: “I hear the family are coming over soon, you’ve met the mum and dad.”
The hosts then showed a picture of the pair alongside Dianne's parents at a restaurant.
He gets a little bit jealous and possessive doesn’t he your brother?
Tim then asked Joe if he had met Dianne’s brother Andrew Buswell.
“No, but I’ve spoke to him a few times, I’m excited yeah," Joe replied.
Simon jokingly added: "He gets a little bit jealous and possessive doesn’t he your brother?”
“Yes, very much so," Dianne said laughing.
Simon then jokingly urged Joe to “be careful” when meeting him.
Later on in the show, the duo discussed their time together on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing, in which they got to the final.
Joe joked the pair’s intense rehearsals meant the professional dancer didn’t let him eat.
During their discussion about Strictly, Simon Rimmer joked about hating all the dancers after he appeared on the show in 2017.
Simon said: “Can I warn you something that will happen this year.
“It might be different with Di because what will happen is, that when the next group come in.”
Oh yeah, I know what you’re about to say,” Joe chipped in.
Simon added: “You then hate all the dancers because then you realise it’s like a holiday romance.
“You think you’re special - your situation is different - but everyone else who is in your year thinks ‘I thought I was special’.
“I thought the little in jokes were just for me.’”
Joe laughed: “It’s like when the year sevens come up and they get all the fun stuff to do and all those cool trips.”
Dianne added: “A new WhatsApp group will be formed,” before going on to say she and Joe “will be alright”.
Simon danced with Karen Clifton on the show in 2017, where he was eliminated in week six.
Joe and Dianne made it through to the final of the BBC show last year, which was later won by Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.
Sunday Brunch continues next week at 9.30am on Channel 4
