Prince Harry and Prince William are not likely to be meeting in London next week, in spite of Harry's apparent wish to sit down and chat with his older brother.

The Duke of Sussex will be in the capital in just a few days for a ceremony celebrating ten years of the Invictus Games on May 8 at St Paul's Cathedral.

While it is expected that he will have a meeting with his father King Charles, it seems William will not make time in his busy schedule to reunite with Harry.

A source told The Mirror: "Harry has kept in regular contact with his father on several occasions and made no secret of his desire to see him when he can. He has been especially concerned about him and hopes the King will be well and able to see him as planned."

The day of the service clashes with the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the year, however there may be time afterwards for Charles and Harry to see each other.

Speaking about Harry and William's estrangement, they added: "Their relationship remains extremely fractured. Harry has privately expressed a wish to sit down with his brother but now is not the time."

The Duke is expected to arrive in Britain from California on Tuesday, May 7, and it is thought he will be staying for a couple of days, likely in a hotel.

This will be his second visit to the UK so far this year, as he flew over in February to see King Charles for just 30 minutes after learning he had been diagnosed with cancer.

Meghan Markle will not accompany her husband to London, but she will join him later in the week in Nigeria for a planned visit to the West African country.

It is their first trip to Nigeria together as a couple, which is likely to be an extremely special time for the Duchess after she revealed is "43 percent Nigerian".

The Sussexes will later embark on the long flight back to California together without stopping over in the UK, as it is unclear when or if Meghan will ever return.
